Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stream Autopsy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. What the service does

Stream Autopsy helps you find publicly listed stream clips, plan original commentary, trim and edit footage you supply, and export vertical videos. The service never publishes anything on your behalf: you review, approve and upload every video yourself, to accounts you control.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18, or at least 13 with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms for you.
• Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts to get extra free credits.

3. Your content and your responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the videos you make and post, including the footage you attach, your commentary, and where you publish.
• You confirm that for every video you make you either own the footage, have a license or permission from the rights holder, or have made a good-faith judgement that your use is permitted (for example, fair use) after doing your own review.
• Our screening scores, "risk" labels, checklists and AI suggestions are tools, not legal advice. They do not mean a video is lawful or safe to post. Fair use is decided case by case.
• You must follow each streamer's stated clipping rules, each platform's rules, and our Acceptable Use Policy.
• You keep ownership of your original commentary and edits. You give us a limited license to store, process and display your content only to run the service for you (and, for share links you create, to show the video publicly at that link).

4. Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of alleged infringement under our Copyright and DMCA Policy, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Credits, plans and payment

• Some features cost credits. Prices are shown on your Account page before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are used only on this site. See Credits and Refunds.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; credits you already received stay on your account.
• We may change prices for future purchases with notice on the site.

6. AI features and your own API key

• AI features use Anthropic's Claude. If you add your own Anthropic API key, your use is billed to you by Anthropic under your agreement with them. We store your key encrypted and use it only to run the features you request.
• AI output can be wrong. Review everything before you publish it.

7. Forums and community

Be respectful. Don't post illegal content, piracy links, personal information about others, harassment or spam. We may remove posts and suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Third-party services

The site links to and embeds services such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Anthropic and Stripe. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We aren't responsible for them.

9. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, receive repeated copyright complaints, or put the service or others at risk.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise any number of views, followers or earnings.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or claims arising from content you publish, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of content you made or posted, or because you broke these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and for significant changes we'll tell you on the site or by email. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
